(UST), headquartered in Layton, Utah, by Tregaron Capital, headquartered in Palo Alto, California. The transaction officially closed in October 2013.

Formed in 2001, UST is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an over-the-counter (OTC) drug manufacturer of dietary supplements and homeopathic drug products.  UST manufactures these products in capsule, tablet, and powder (oral and liquid ready-mix) forms for retailers, distributors, marketers, and professionals throughout the United States.  UST also offers formulation and research and development (R&D) services, and has one of the quickest manufacturing turn-around times in the industry.

Managing Director, John Poythress and Vice President, Don Ho led the GCM deal team that advised UST on the transaction.  "UST is an exceptional company and market leader in the supplement manufacturing sector.
