The Room Exchange Acquired by a Private Investor

We are pleased to announce the sale of our client, The Room Exchange, to a Private Investor. The acquisition closed December 30, 2025.

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, The Room Exchange is a consignment furniture and home décor retailer serving local customers. The Company offers a wide selection of gently used and new furnishings, including pieces from private consignments, model homes, and retail closeouts. Inventory changes frequently, giving customers access to a rotating mix of styles and price points through both an online showroom and an in-store experience. The Room Exchange also provides an opportunity for homeowners and designers to consign quality furniture, creating a sustainable marketplace for buying and selling home furnishings.

Generational Group Executive Managing Director, M&A, Eastern Region – David Fergusson, and his team led by Generational Affiliates, Anthony Blair and Nick Arnheim, with the support of Vice President, M&A, Emil Nirkis, successfully closed the deal. Executive Managing Director, Ed Weber and Senior M&A Advisor, Dave Heymann established the initial relationship with The Room Exchange.
