Beaudoin Electrical Construction Acquired By Private Investors

We are pleased to share the sale of our client, Beaudoin Electrical Construction, Inc., to Private Investors. The transaction closed April 4, 2022.

Located in Sodus, Michigan, Beaudoin Electrical Construction (BEC) is an electrical contracting company which has been offering all phases of electrical construction throughout Berrien County and the surrounding area since 1972.

The company has built a significant track record as a one-stop, sole source for its contractor and owner customers, with long-term knowledge of existing systems, next-stage upgrades and expansions, and the ability to install comprehensive electrical systems on new or remodel construction projects, as well as recurring service capabilities.

Generational Equity Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team, led by Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Jerry Yocum, with the support of Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Ryan Johnson, successfully closed the transaction. Senior Managing Director Rick Buchoz established the initial relationship with BEC.

“Jim Gunn, the owner of BEC, is establishing an ESOP and has set up his employees for a great opportunity to have a strong retirement plan,” said Yocum.
