T.D. Decker is President of Generational Growth Advisors, where he leads a team that has coached more than 600 business owners to transform their companies, significantly increase enterprise value, and prepare for exit—earning a 97 Net Promoter Score.

Over his career, T.D. has helped more than 200 organizations—from startups to $30B enterprises—develop and execute Strategic Growth Plans. He brings a unique perspective shaped by experience as a President/CEO, finance executive, investor, and board member, along with a deep personal network across industries.

T.D. has served as President/CEO of six other companies, including Decker Transformation Advisors, Shaped Wire, Telemotive Industrial Controls, Aquascape, Acell Industries, and Ritchie Capital Management, a $4B alternative investment firm spanning private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, and more. He has also led multiple turnarounds as interim CEO across diverse industries.

Earlier in his career, T.D. worked closely with the CEOs of 13 organizations on strategic growth initiatives. His background includes roles in M&A (helping sell seven companies), investing at a family office, serving as a principal in an LBO firm, and acting as CFO for both middle-market and multinational companies. He was the Marketing Manager for UTC’s fuel cell business and helped market Job Bank USA, a computerized resume database service.

In addition, he helped plan Pete Dawkins’ U.S. Senate campaign, the 1988 Republican National Convention, the 1988 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Debates, and the Desert Storm Homecoming Celebration in Washington, D.C.

T.D. is an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization and The CEO Forum, has served on more than 30 ministry and private company boards, and currently sits on the advisory boards of the Duke Feagin Leadership Program and New Harvest Global Ministries in Sierra Leone.

He began his career as a U.S. Army officer, serving as a football coach at West Point and a helicopter pilot in the 82nd Airborne Division during Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada.

T.D. earned an MBA from Duke University and a B.S. in Engineering from West Point, where he was a quarterback of the Army football team. He and his wife, Rozzie, live in Plano, Texas, and have four married children and six grandchildren.
