Mr. Carney has worked in mergers and acquisitions since 2017 including both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Mr. Carney joined Generational Group in 2022, working with clients to create and execute an exit plan. Prior to M&A, Mr. Carney worked for over a decade in wealth management and is a combat veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Carney earned his M.B.A. from the University of Illinois and his B.S. in Business Management from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Carney is active within his community and is president of a local Lions Club chapter.
