“Without Our Generational Equity Dealmaker, the Deal Would Not Have Closed”

One of the most pleasing aspects of my role with Generational Equity is that I get to produce our client testimonials. Not only is it a real pleasure to meet some of the most wonderful people I have ever encountered, I also get to hear just how fantastic our services are for owners of privately held companies.

Earlier this year I had the honor of meeting and interviewing Bobby Evans, Jr., one of the co-owners of Meal Tracker Dietary Software. Bobby’s story is not that unique from many of the stories our clients tell. For example:

  • Although our initial value was below his expectations he went to market anyway and the buyers validated our valuation assumptions.
  • This gave Bobby the impetus and knowledge he needed to enter our Hold and Grow Program and build the organization over time.
  • We valued his company several times over a four-year period.
  • In the end, we were able to eventually exceed his valuation expectations and marry his firm with an optimal buyer.

The reality is Bobby and his co-owners listened to their dealmaker over the years and trusted his experience and vision for the company. I can’t stress that heavily enough: If you hire a professional advisor, listen to them.
