Generational Equity Advises Southwest Waterworks Contractors in Sale to PumpMan Holdings

Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Southwest Waterworks Contractors Inc., to PumpMan Holdings Inc. The acquisition closed June 29, 2018.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, Southwest Waterworks Contractors specializes in design, installation and repair of pumps and pump systems, including vertical turbine pumps, horizontal centrifugals and wastewater equipment. The company serves the municipal and private utility markets in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

PumpMan Holdings, headquartered in Saddle Brook, NJ, is a leading provider of pump systems and on-site maintenance and repair services for commercial, industrial and municipal water pump systems in North America. The company focuses on serving the needs of pump end-users to optimize the performance and reliability of their pumping systems.

PumpMan is a portfolio of Soundcore Capital Partners, which specializes in control equity investments and leveraged buyouts of proven lower middle market North American-headquartered businesses.

Generational Equity Senior Managing Director Stephen Crisham’s team, led by Senior M&A Advisor Jerry Glover with support from Managing Director Mike Meredith, successfully closed the deal. Senior Managing Director Doug Morrow established the initial relationship with Southwest Waterworks Contractors.
