Generational Group Advises Rapid Production Tooling in Sale to RL Hudson & Co.

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Rapid Production Tooling Inc., to RL Hudson & Co. The acquisition closed June 29, 2018.

Rapid Production Tooling, based in Berthoud, Colorado, manufactures high-end steel and aluminum molds for the injection molding industry.  The company has a reputation for excellence among a variety of industry segments, including healthcare and medical devices, electronics, recreational equipment, plumbing products, fitness equipment, custom molders and more.

RL Hudson is a custom rubber and plastic parts manufacturer located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It creates parts for key segments like medium/heavy trucks, outdoor power equipment, power sports and off-highway vehicles, recreational marine and agriculture, among others. The acquisition will allow RL Hudson to leverage additional technology and capability to provide turnkey service to customers.

Generational Group Senior Managing Director Stephen Crisham’s team, led by trusted affiliate David Lewis with support from Managing Director Mike Meredith, successfully closed the deal. Executive Managing Director Edward Weber established the initial relationship with Rapid Production Tooling.
