Proton Multimedia, Inc., (dba Kult of Athena), located in Elgin, Illinois, is a leading retail and wholesale distributor of historic swords, armor, and a variety of historic reproductions. With over 20 years of industry experience, Kult of Athena distributes products to the United States, Canada, and various other international countries.

The Company sells both licensed and unlicensed merchandise from a large number of manufacturers including: CAS Iberia, Denix, Albion Armory, Marto, Factory X, Cheness Cutlery, Cold Steel, Del Tin, Windlass Steelcrafts, Hanwei, Dynasty Forge, Arms & Armor, Darksword Armory, Deepeeka, Generation 2, Get Dressed For Battle, Kris Cutlery, Masahiro, Musashi, Ritter Steel, United Cutlery, Valiant Armory and many more.

Products sold include: Swords, daggers, maces, axes, spears, armor, shields, crossbows, jewelry and accessory items. Product prices range from under $20 to well over $1,000. It is one of the largest online dealers of these novelty items in the U.S.

Generational Group Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team, led by Senior M&A Advisor, Prasad Karcherla, with support from Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Ryan Johnson, successfully closed the transaction. Senior Managing Director Ashok Tandon established the initial relationship with Kult of Athena.
