Generational Group Advises Pine Country in its Sale to WPW Holdings

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Pine Country, Inc., to WPW Holdings. The acquisition closed April 1, 2022.

Pine Country, Inc., located in Grand Junction, Colorado, is Colorado’s premier dealer on the Western Slope with multiple lines of recreational and utility trailers, specialty vehicles and custom truck-upfitting and fabrication. Pine Country was established in 1984 with a focus on vehicle sales and taken forward in 1989 by Ron and Nola Kissner. Mr. Kissner dramatically expanded the services and offerings of the Company, evolving into one of the top multi-line trailer and specialty vehicle dealers, and upfitting/fabrication shops on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Warren P. Walcher II and Nick Horrocks of WPW Holdings partnered in the acquisition of Pine Country. Mr. Walcher was a highly successful operator of a multi-location automotive service business, while Mr. Horrocks was the long-time General Manager of Pine Country. Their combined background includes high-level operations, marketing and management experience in the industry, and positions the Company for its next level of growth.

Generational Group Executive Managing Director of M&A – Western Region, Stephen Crisham and his team, led by Senior M&A Advisor, Don Beezley, with support from Managing Director Mergers & Acquisitions, Chad Comroe, successfully closed the deal. Senior Managing Director Joe Van Voorhis established the initial relationship with Pine Country.
