Employee Engagement and Generational Consulting Group

One of the most important concepts we work on during our Generational Consulting Group (GCG) engagements is the idea of encouraging your entire team to get involved and buy into the idea that, as Alexandre Dumas, author of the Three Musketeer’s said, “all for one and one for all!"

A recent study released by CBIZ Human Capital Management summed this idea up very nicely. Entitled “Creating a Company Culture Centered on Employee Engagement” it captured what many of our GCG clients say about what our work does for them. Here is what a few of them have said:

Based on my 30 plus years of experience, I can tell you that there is nothing more powerful in creating a company of growth than to have 100% employee acceptance and buy-in to the culture you are trying to build. The CBIZ study summarizes it best:

There are many factors to employee success in the workplace. For example, ambition, tact and creativity can increase an employee’s value in an organization. But engagement – on the whole – may be the most important factor of all because it is owned and internalized by each individual. This means engaged employees want to succeed, which, in turn, furthers the organization’s success.

I think we would agree with that section highlighted above. There is NO substitute for engagement. Buy-in. Trust in the mission. Leaders who lead.

This is why we have partnered with Jack Nicklaus and his team because he embodies and personifies this very principle that we also believe in:

This is especially critical if you are considering the exit of your business. During the due diligence phase, buyers will dive deeply into your company culture asking: How good are you at getting associates buying into the company mission? For buyers, an involved, driven, associate base excited about the company’s future is key. Creating that kind of environment is vital.

GCG can help you do that.
