Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator and Recruiter to join our HR team. This pivotal role combines the responsibilities of managing employee benefits programs with leading comprehensive recruitment initiatives across various departments. You will play a vital role in attracting top talent, ensuring seamless onboarding, and maintaining competitive benefits offerings that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. Your energetic approach, combined with your expertise in talent acquisition and benefits administration, will drive our organization’s success and foster a positive workplace culture.

The Benefits Administrator focuses on benefits administration duties within the Human Resources office and supports other HR functions as needed. This is a full-time, in-house position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain benefit plan set-up and eligibility rules in the HRIS.
  • Notify and support eligible employees during monthly enrollments and open enrollments.
  • Reconcile monthly carrier/provider invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Process HSA deposits each pay period and coordinate funding with payroll.
  • Process benefits terminations and administer COBRA in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Prepare HR reports as needed (e.g., PTO, birthdays, and anniversaries).
  • Support ACA tracking throughout the year and coordinate year-end ACA reporting.
  • Coordinate year-end benefit rollovers and confirm effective dates with payroll.
  • Create and maintain employee document checklists to support compliance and file completeness.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and orientation activities as assigned.
  • Maintain employee records by filing documents in the HR portal and appropriate binders.
  • Support employee events and office logistics as needed (e.g., lunches and celebrations).
  • Support year-end employee events and related communications as needed.
  • Recruiting for corporate positions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with other associates in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Experience in PAYCOM is helpful

Education and Experience:

  • Administrative, HR training and experience – HR Certifications are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
