Mr. Heymann’s diverse business background spans almost 50 years. Mr. Heymann and a partner founded King’s Cakes, an institutional food service business which supplied restaurants and grocery chains. They later sold the company to a larger food manufacturer.

Mr. Heymann, who has also founded companies in the technology, training and catering industries, has spent the majority of his professional life in the corporate world. Over the first 20+ years of his career, Mr. Heymann participated in numerous middle-market acquisitions on the buy side, working directly with sellers prior to and after the sale. He has worked for or represented both North American and international firms including British Oxygen Company, Fisons PLC, Baxter International and Apria Healthcare. In addition to his direct involvement in all aspects of professional deal making, from identifying targets to negotiating deals and completing due diligence, Mr. Heymann has extensive expertise in distribution, outsourcing, healthcare, information technology, and other disciplines. For more than 15 years, Mr. Heymann has worked on the sell side of M&A, helping sellers to prepare for and execute a transaction.

Mr. Heymann is a frequent lecturer who has developed and taught courses utilizing principles of the Harvard Negotiation Project and other deal making disciplines to those wishing to improve their negotiating skills, learn about mergers and acquisitions or prepare their business for sale.
