Generational Capital Markets Advises Mettler Fertilizer in its Sale to an Industry Acquirer

Generational Capital Markets, Member FINRA/SIPC and a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Mettler Fertilizer, Inc., to an industry buyer. The acquisition closed August 9, 2021.

Founded in 1969 and located in Menno, South Dakota, Mettler Fertilizer (Mettler) provides its local growers and farmers with high-quality fertilizer, seed, equipment, technology, and custom application services that improve agricultural productivity for greater returns. The Company serves over 1,400 customers in the southeast South Dakota region.

The Company holds the highest standards when it comes to taking great care of customers and their respective land. Mettler is well-equipped with the knowledge necessary to provide farmers with trustworthy, and unbiased data regarding fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, data management, water management, and all things agriculture.

Generational Capital Markets’ Senior Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, Phil Pizzurro, with the support of Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions, Andre Farahmandi, successfully closed the deal. Senior Managing Director David Robinson established the initial relationship with Mettler.
