Generational Group Advises DCBA Landscape Architecture in Sale to LJA Engineering

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, David C. Baldwin, Inc., (dba DCBA Landscape Architecture) to LJA Engineering, Inc. The acquisition closed September 25, 2019.

DCBA Landscape Architecture, located in Plano, Texas, is an award-winning landscape architectural firm that serves the public and private sectors. Customers include institutions, municipalities, developers and private clients with portfolios in community spaces, parks, master-planned communities, streetscapes and various other project types.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, and with 30 office locations throughout Texas and Florida, LJA Engineering is a civil engineering firm that has expanded into land development, energy services, public infrastructure, transportation, rail services, environmental and surveying, as well as planning and landscape architecture. 

Generational Group Executive Managing Director of M&A – Central Region, Michael Goss, and his team, led by Senior Vice President Luan Ly, successfully closed the deal. Executive Managing Director Bill Kushnir established the initial relationship with DCBA Landscape Architecture.
