Generational Group Announces the Acquisition of Disc-Lock, Inc. by Sherex Fastening Solutions LLC

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Disc-Lock, Inc.(Disk-Lock), headquartered in El Segundo, California, by Sherex Fastening Solutions LLC (Sherex), headquartered in Tonawanda, New York. The acquisition closed on February 29, 2016.
Established over 30 years ago, Disc-Lock designs and manufactures highly-specialized vibration-proof fastening systems. Managing Director Stephen Crisham and Vice President Mike Meredith led the Generational Group deal team that advised Disc-Lock on the transaction.
Mike stated, “This was a unique transaction in that Disc-Lock had developed numerous patented fastening solutions but had a limited marketing and sales function.”
