Generational Group Advises Point Blank Industries in Sale to Oilstop

Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Point Blank Industries, Inc. (dba Oilstop Carwash & Detail), to Oilstop, LLC. The acquisition closed November 4, 2019 and details were not disclosed.
Point Blank Industries is a single location quick lube and car wash located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Company is an Oilstop, LLC franchise and is a 2-bay operation that was opened on December 22, 1999. It has grown to a point where it will service more than 13,250 vehicles in 2019. The store’s appearance, interior layout, service process, services and products offered and high level of customer satisfaction are shared with all other Oilstop locations.
Oilstop, LLC (dba Oilstop Drive-Thru Oil Change) was founded in Petaluma, CA, in 1988, and has since grown to include locations in Oregon, California, Arizona and New Mexico. All Oilstop locations offer a drive-thru service, where guests remain in their vehicles and are offered complimentary beverages, wifi and in many cases, a complimentary car wash with Oilstop’s unmatched 33-Point Service.
Franchise owner, Mr. David Beaty, is retiring to spend more time with his family. The staff and management teams, including the managers of both the Oil Change and Car Wash operations, will continue in their roles under the direct leadership of Oilstop, LLC.
