Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately held businesses, is proud to be title sponsor of the 2018 Dallas Jingle Bell Run charity event for the fifth year in a row.

The Jingle Bell Run takes place Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, with the first race starting at 6:30 p.m.

This family-friendly and dog-friendly event includes a nighttime 5k race, a 1-mile fun run and post-race celebrations. Carolers and music along the course will keep things lively as runners and their dogs pass by in their holiday attire.

Participants are encouraged to don ugly sweaters, antlers or whatever holiday apparel puts them in the spirit. An award will be presented for the Most Festively Dressed Dog. To create a cheerful atmosphere, event organizers are giving runners and walkers a pair of jingle bells and glow sticks so participants can "jingle all the way" through the course.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Trinity Strand Trail and Dallas Mavericks Foundation. In the past, the event has raised $100,000+ per event.

The Trinity Strand Trail is turning a blighted former public works project into 8 miles of hike and bike trails connecting the Katy Trail to the Design and Medical districts in Dallas. Once the project is complete, it will connect more than 73 miles of trail.

The Mavs Foundation builds a stronger community through financial support, advocacy and service. Throughout the last 22 years, the organization has granted more than $4 million to nonprofits serving women, children and families in need, and created reading and learning centers, along with basketball courts, across the North Texas community.

The event is occurring during the Christmas at the Anatole celebration, which will provide an extra festive backdrop.
